Here at Rainsville First Family, we love our kids!
It's our mission to partner with families to help raise children
who grow up loving and serving the Lord with their whole heart.
We have taken great care in choosing ministry curriculum and activities
for your kids that are designed to help them grow and thrive in their
relationship with Jesus Christ, loving unconditionally, and serving others
by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
When You Visit with Us
We welcome you to the Children's Ministry of Rainsville First Family!
We're happy that you stopped by to visit with us online, and we hope that you will choose
to visit with us in person very soon! When you do, please be sure to stop by our Children's Welcome Center
on the main floor. This is located by our nursery. If it's your first visit with us, just come through the main doors
at the front of the church, and our greeters will be more than happy to direct you.
When you arrive at the Children's Welcome Center, you will be asked to fill out an information card.
You will then be given two name tags. The tags will be printed with the name of your child.
Place one tag onto your child, and keep the second tag with you to present when you pick up your child.
You will be shown where your child's classroom is located, and we will introduce you to his or her teachers.
We would ask that you please make the teachers aware of any allergies or other concerns
that should be taken into consideration in the care of your child during their stay with us at Rainsville First Family.
Sunday w/ First Family Kids
Section Title
On Sundays our children meet in age/grade specific small groups, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
These small group times are used to engage children in Scripture, play games, and encourage the building of relationships.
On Sunday, Children's Worship takes place beginning at 10:15 a.m. Children's Worship is offered for age 3 through 4th grade,
and it includes Bible study, games, crafts, music, and snacks.
On the last Sunday of the month, we set aside the time of Children's Worship to allow families the opportunity to worship together with
the rest of the church in the main auditorium.
A nursery for babies and toddlers
is available during all services.
Wednesday w/ First Family Kids
During the school year, our children are fully engaged
in a ministry called Arrow Kids' Club.
This ministry begins at 6:10 p.m., and participants
range in age from 3 years old through 6th grade.
Preschool classes meet upstairs, and kindergarten through 6th grade
meet downstairs in our Children's Worship Center.
Kids participate in large and small group activities that center around Bible study,
games, and encouragement in learning to serve others.
During the summer months, we offer a Kids Bible Study that begins at 6:10 p.m.
Vacation Bible School is our biggest
children's event of the year,
and we normally hold VBS in June.
Offered for age 3 through 6th grade,
VBS at Rainsville First Family is something
you do not want your child to miss!
We also offer a special needs VBS for all ages.
Each year, kids in 3rd through 6th grade attend CentriKid Camp in Shocco Springs, Alabama.
CentriKid is sponsored by Lifeway.

Christmas is an exciting time for the kids in our Children's Ministry, as we host Jingle Jam!
It's a party "Big Enough for the Whole Family!"
Jingle Jam is packed full of music, dancing, skits, videos, games, cookie decorating,
a hot chocolate bar – and so much more!
At the end of every school year, our kids celebrate with a Luau or Fiesta Party.
This event is packed with fun activities – inflatables, bingo, great food, and much more!
