Who We Are

Rainsville First Family is just that...we're a family!

It is our greatest desire to be a family that is real, transparent, and a family that is growing daily in Christ.

Our mission is to first engage with God in ways that are relevant and life-changing.

We seek to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and we seek to be disciples who make disciples...

transforming the lives of those around us with the great love of our Lord.

What We Believe

Our faith is grounded in the infallibility of Scripture,

and we believe in the tenets put forth in the Baptist Faith and Message.

What to Expect

Whether you are a returning guest, or you are walking through our doors

for the very first time, you can expect to be welcomed at Rainsville First Family!

Our greeters will be there as you enter to start your visit with us off right!

If you're visiting during our 9:00 AM Sunday School hour, they will assist you and your family in choosing

from a wide variety of Small Group Sunday School classes.  They will personally escort you to that class,

and they will be sure that every family member, from infants through senior adults, find their right place.

If your visit begins during our 10:15 AM Corporate Worship hour, our greeters will welcome you,

they will help you find the right place for childcare (if needed),

and they will even help you find a seat in the auditorium.

Our Greeter Team is here to help make sure that your visit with us is easy and comfortable.

Music & Message

The Message

The center-point of our corporate worship is always the preaching

of the authentic message of Scripture.

Pastor David Cofield boldly delivers that message every Sunday at 10:15 AM

and Wednesday at 6:10 PM.  The messages are thoughtful, relevant,

and are delivered with passion and Biblical-accuracy.

Music

The worship of God through music is important in the life of any church,

and we are blessed to have a great Worship Ministry here at Rainsville First Family!

Led by our Worship Pastor, Brandon Boswell, all of the music on Sunday is performed live

by a very gifted group of musicians, singers, and backed by a great AV Team.

Our worship music is exciting, heartfelt, dynamic, and intentionally directed

to bring glory and honor to our awesome God.

On Wednesday evenings, there is music to begin the service led by our Praise Team. This time of worship will primarily consist of more traditional worship music and hymns.

Children & Students

Rainsville First Family is a great place for your kids!

From newborns to teens, we have a place for them here, a place where they can not only

have fun and engage with other children, but a place where they will learn about

the wonderful love of Jesus Christ!

These ministries are led by our Student Pastor, Max Grizzard

and our Children's Minister, Whitney Traylor.

Sunday

On Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM, we have graded Small Group Sunday School classes for all ages,

in addition to a specific Children's Worship for kids age 3 through 4th grade in our Children's Center.

Wednesday

On Wednesday evenings at 6:10 PM, we offer and exciting ministry for children,

ages 3 through 6th grade, called Arrow Kids' Club.  In this ministry, children will participate in

creative, fun, and engaging lessons, crafts, games, and much more!

Visit our Children's Ministry Page HERE.

For 7th through 12th graders, our "RFBC Students Ministry" meets at 6:10 PM in our Student Center.

This time is filled with great fellowship, worship music, and the profound message of God's Word delivered by Pastor Max.  Over the course of the year, this ministry will engage our students

with times of fun and games, service projects, retreats, and the life-applicable teaching of Scripture.

Meet Our Pastor

Following our 10:15 AM morning worship service, Pastor David and his wife, Roxanne,

hold a "Pastor and Wife Reception." This is a time specifically set aside

for our guests to personally engage with our pastor, get to visit with him and his wife,

ask questions, pray together, etc...

Pastor David will also have a gift for our guests from the church.

The location of the "Pastor and Wife Reception" will be clearly announced at the end of each service, and the location is clearly marked directly across the hallway from the main auditorium.

We encourage our guests to take a moment to meet Pastor David and Roxanne,

pick up your free gift, and then join us again in the future!

What to Wear

Let's make this simple...come just as you are!

We don't desire that you stress about what you wear to worship at Rainsville First Family!

If you want to dress up, that's not a problem for us at all; however, most of our congregation

arrives "casual and comfortable."  You can feel free to do the same!

Where to Park

Our guest parking is clearly marked, directing you to our large guest parking area

located immediately off of Church Avenue.  We also have special parking reserved for parents

with children under 2 years of age.  This parking is also located directly off of Church Avenue.
