Rainsville First Family is excited to announce

"Super Sunday @ RFBC," coming in February of 2022!

Join us as we welcome Dusty McLemore to our church.

This will be an exciting Sunday, and it will be a wonderful evangelistic opportunity

for our church and community.  We encourage you to invite everyone, 

but specifically invite lost friends to hear Dusty's powerful testimony.

Currently retired, Dusty is the founding Pastor and Pastor Emeritus

of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church in Athens, AL.


Pastor Dusty was born and raised in Athens, AL.  He attended Tanner High School

and John C. Calhoun Jr. College.  He was gloriously saved on October 30, 1979 from a lifestyle

previously spent as a compulsive gambler.  He attended and served his home church, 

Round Island Baptist Church, in many capacities, including ministry as a Deacon

and Sunday School teacher.  Pastor Dusty was called into ministry in September of 1991.  

He immediately enrolled at Heritage Bible College where he received hi B.A. in Religion.

Dusty was called to pastor Lindsay Lane Baptist Church in April of 1992

as their bi-vocational pastor. Beginning with a total membership of 32 people, 

the church has experienced phenomenal growth with a membership that now exceeds 2,500.

As a church, Lindsay Lane continues to be a leader in the state convention in baptisms.

In 2001, Pastor Dusty received the distinguished "Troy Morrison Leadership Award," 

which recognized the state's top leader among churches.  He also serves on

the Board of Regents for the University of Mobile.  Dusty had the privilege to speak

at the State Evangelism Conference in 2006.  He has also spoken at the

Alabama State Pastor's Conference in 2012 and 2013.  He is a past President

of the Alabama State Pastor's Conference in 2009, hosted at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.

Pastor Dusty is a frequent speaker at revivals and one-day conferences.  

His heartbeat is preaching God's Word and serving the local church.

He's been married to his lovely wife, Patsy for 48 years.  

He has two daughters, Haley and Jo Dare, 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
