Phillip and Iveigh Dendy were married in 2017 and are blessed with three children: Zeke, Zyan, and Zaiah. Phillip is a native of Sand Mountain, and Iveigh was raised in  Cedartown, Georgia, in a pastor’s home. Phillip answered the call to preach in 2016 where he began in evangelism. Since the beginning of their marriage, Phillip and Iveigh have served together in ministry. Phillip has served in multiple pastoral roles, including Young Adult Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Lead Pastor. Currently, Phillip serves as the Campus Pastor at Northeast Alabama Community College.

They are grateful and humbled for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this next season. Their desire is to equip the church, lead with a servants heart, and remain faithful to their first and most important ministry — their home.

Brandon and Andrea Boswell were married soon after graduating together from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2002. The two moved back to Andrea’s hometown and joined Rainsville First Baptist in 2004. They have two wonderful children, Lily and Carter, along with a fantastic son-in-law, Druw Smith.  Brandon has been a member of the praise team at RFBC for twenty years now and has served as worship leader on two separate occasions…currently since 2022.  Brandon has a heart for leading others as a unified body of believers in the honoring and glorifying of the One True King, Jesus Christ. He is truly humbled to be in a position to utilize the talents and gifts with which God has blessed him in order to fulfill his calling.

Chase and Amanda have been married for 18 years and have three sons: Israel, Elisha, and Shepherd. Their family reflects their commitment to faith, perseverance, and leading by example. Their desire is for both their home and their ministry to be built on the same foundation: Christ first and Christ alone.

Although Chase works full-time outside the church, his commitment to serving others extends well beyond the workday. For many years, he has passionately served in community as a coach, a business leader, and for 14 years as a music minister.

As interim youth pastor, his goal is more than simply filling a position. He hopes to build meaningful relationships, create opportunities for spiritual growth, and help young people discover that God has a purpose for their lives. He believes young people need someone who will listen to them, encourage them, challenge them, and, above all, point them toward Jesus.

Whitney joined the staff of Rainsville First Family in 2014.  She believes that children should be taught the truth about God’s Word from an early age, and she strives to provide a learning environment to do just that.

Growing up in Rainsville, Whitney is a product of the Children and Student Ministries of Rainsville First Family.  She is dedicated to helping the children of our church learn and grow in the love of Christ.

As an organizer, Whitney plans activities that children learn from and enjoy.  She also serves in other areas of ministry at Rainsville whenever possible.
